Since I began teaching Public Speaking in 2010, I've heard about Scott Berkun's Confessions of a Public Speaker. I read books, take ideas, and put them into practice. And most important perhaps, some early praise has been rolling in. Finally, for my birthday back in April, I purchased a copy and really, really enjoyed what I learned. A 360-Degree View of the Creative World — The book may not be too technical or throw around much speaking lingo, but what it does do is even better. This year I made a goal to read six new books and to share my experience with everyone via book reviews. The thought of standing up there and presenting or speaking in front of people, strangers or not, is a mortifying one. I like to go to developer conferences.
